Highlands Source Project

The Highlands Source Project involved the construction of an 80km pipeline and pumping station between Wingecarribee Reservoir and Goulburn, and has recently received an Engineering Excellence Award in the Sydney Region for Engineering in Regional Communities.

Bray Park Water Treatment Plant

The Bray Park Water Treatment Plant serves the rapidly growing Tweed Shire region in northern NSW. A new 100 ML/day water treatment plant using immersed membrane technology has been constructed to meet future water quality and growth needs of the community. The plant has been designed to be easily expandable to 150 ML/d without the addition of major civil assets, to allow for future growth in the region.

Mt St John Wastewater Purification Plant

Hunter Water Australia (HWA) has been involved with Townsville City Council (TCC) water and wastewater treatment plants for over 15 years. Commencing 2007, HWA and its partner AECOM have worked closely with TCC to develop an augmentation plan for their ageing WPP. This occurred during a difficult time where two local councils, Thuringowa and Townsville, were amalgamated into one Council.
