Icon Water has recently appointed the Beca HunterH2O-GHD Joint Venture as its preferred Engineering Services Provider, to support a generational upgrade of the Australian Capital Territory’s water infrastructure.

Icon Water has selected the 50/50 Joint Venture partnership between engineering consultancies Beca HunterH2O and GHD to support strategic planning, conceptual design and to integrate with Icon Water’s other partners to deliver its $1 billion capital works program over the next 10 years.

Beca Technical Fellow and Australian Board Chair, David Papps, said the appointment builds upon Beca’s proud track record partnering with water authorities across Australia’s East Coast, to deliver outstanding water infrastructure.

“We are excited to be appointed by Icon Water to their Professional Engineering Services Agreement (PESA) partnership, to help make real their capital works infrastructure program. This exciting program will help secure a safe and resilient water supply for the ACT, supporting the growth of their community over coming decades,” said David.
