Damon Emerson
Damon is a senior process engineer with seven years of experience across the entire water industry. Since starting at Hunter H2O has been heavily involved in wastewater treatment optioneering, concept/detailed design, commissioning and operational support. Damon’s knowledge is backed by operational experience from his previous role with Central Coast Council where he was responsible for operation of both treatment plants and network systems while also acting as an afterhours telemetry officer. His experience has allowed him to work closely with the management, operators and maintenance staff to foster excellent working relationships. Damon has been involved and managed a number of projects from investigational studies through to commissioning and operational support.

– Port Macquarie Odour Treatment Assessment
– Hawks Nest STP Feasibility, Options Study and Concept Design
– Gunnedah WTP Options Assessment, Concept Design and Owners Engineer
– Marulan STP Options Assessment and Concept Design
– Goulburn WWTP (MBR) Commissioning and Operator Training.
He has also been involved in several process assessments to develop an upgrade scope of works. Within the past three years Damon has completed site visits for more than 35 different water, wastewater and reuse treatment plants across Australia and Pacific. With his diverse experience within water and wastewater he has developed exceptional knowledge of issues and solutions to water and wastewater problems which allows him to successfully deliver on many theoretical and site-based investigations.
