Principal Process Engineer

Craig has been an integral member of Hunter H2O’s water capability since 2010, and he now leads a team of four engineers from the Hunter H2O Brisbane office. Craig’s career has developed through water treatment plant operations to consulting, design and research and development. In his early years he was an integral member of Hunter H2O’s Operations team, conducting numerous plant optimisation trials, after-hours problem solving and asset management and maintenance. His knowledge and skill in water treatment process engineering developed further through undertaking and leading a number of plant optimisation projects for external clients, including bench, pilot and full-scale studies examining alternative chemical dosing systems, organics removal, manganese removal and ozonation.

Craig was awarded a PhD in Chemical Engineering for his work studying the ozonation of potable water

In more recent times Craig has been involved in three significant projects that have gone on to win AWA and IPWEA Awards including: Gordonbrook WTP Upgrade with South Burnett Regional Council and Armidale Regional Council’s Ozonation Plant.
