Hunter H2O, one of the largest water specialist consulting firms in the Australia-
Pacific region is set to open its doors in Tamworth next week.
Hunter H2O has been working with Councils in the region for 20 years. The new
Tamworth office is Hunter H2O’s first regional office and is a direct result of the
successful partnership with the Namoi Water Alliance Councils.
The Tamworth office will officially launch on Tuesday 29th October, with a Day of
presentations by Hunter H2O specialist staff together with guest speaker Brendan
Guiney, the Executive Officer of the NSW Water Directorate.
The Day aims to bring Councils together to hear firsthand from water practitioners
with national and international expertise but who also understand the challenges
faced by regional communities.
Hunter H2O Tamworth representative and Principal Planning Engineer, Naomi
Schipanski is excited by the opportunity.
“Our business is built around meeting the needs of regional communities. Regional
clients account for more than half of our business. Collectively, Namoi Councils are
one of our principal clients,” said Naomi Schipanski.
“We’re building local partnerships and growing skills in the region. The Tamworth
office is an important step forward for us and it will be used as a hub to service
Namoi, New England and other regional NSW areas.”
